RETURNS & REFUNDS

Our policy lasts 7 days.If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

  • The product is eligible for return in one of the following cases provided the complaint/return request is registered within 48 hours of delivery
    -Product is defective/damaged.
    -Product is not same as ordered/described – different color, size, style, wrong product.
  • You can place a Return request within 7 days of order delivery from My Account section. However, in case of Damaged/Missing Product, the Return request should be filed within 2 days of delivery.
  • Return request will be reviewed by ShopRoot.
  • If required, request will be shared with the merchant for his/her approval.
  • After approval, pickup of the product will be arranged through our courier partners.
  • If our reverse pickup service is not available on your address, we will ask you to dispatch the product. The courier charges will be reimbursed by ShopRoot..
  • After the product is received, it is verified against your claim and accordingly, Replacement or Refund is initiated. Please note that Replacement would depend upon the stock availability with the respective merchant

Returns/Replacement are accepted under the following cases –

  • Wrong Product – Wrong color/ size/ style
  • Wrong item ordered/ delivered
  • Defective Product – Manufacturing defect/ Non-functioning (Not applicable, if the product is under Manufacturer’s Warranty)
  • Damaged Product – Physical damage/ Tampered product or packaging
  • Wrong Quantity – Missing Products/ Parts

Returns/ Replacement requests will not accepted under following cases –

  • If Products are Altered/ Used
  • If Product is Returned without Original Packaging (price tags, labels & accessories)
  • If Serial Number is tampered
  • For Defective product that is covered under Seller/Manufacturer’s Warranty or Reported after 10 days of the Delivery
  • For Damaged/Missing product that is reported after 2 days of the delivery
  • For Products sold under specific promotions, details of which would be mentioned in the Product page and Terms & Conditions page

We initiate the replacement or refund within 2 working days of receiving the product at our center.

In order to receive your refund please follow the steps below:

Products can only be returned if they are still in their original condition and packaging. Used products, or products damaged by the customer will not be eligible for refund or replacement.

Request your Return Authorization Number and by emailing [email protected] or whatsapp our no. +917029599180 with detailed reason for return and pictures or a video of the product that supports your reason.

To assure your refund please use a trackable mail service, we will not be responsible for lost or missing packages. (You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Upon the receipt of your package your products will be examined and a full refund will be issued to you through our my wallet method of payment.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your wallet account again.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at: [email protected]

Sale/Promotion items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded

Invalid Reasons:

Buyer no longer wants the items – this is the most common example which we cannot honor if we want to continue offering great value at Shoproot. The buyer should make sure he or she wants to buy the items before submitting an order, not after. After an order is submitted, the buyer enters into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase all items in that order.
Buyer found items cheaper somewhere else – Buyer should be confident that he or she is ready to pay the asking prices before submitting an order. After an order is submitted, the buyer enters into a legally binding contract with the seller to purchase all items in that order.

The return policy is divided into three parts; Do read all sections carefully to understand the conditions and cases under which returns will be accepted.

This policy shall be applicable selectively (geographical coverage, product, customer and time periods).

In order to help you resolve issues with your product, we may troubleshoot your product either through online tools, over the phone, and/or through an in-person technical visit.

If a defect is determined within the Returns Window, a replacement of the same model will be provided at no additional cost. If no defect is confirmed or the issue is not diagnosed within 7 days of delivery or Installation wherever applicable, you will be directed to a brand service centre to resolve any subsequent issues.

In any case, only one replacement shall be provided.

Apple & Google Products (Mobiles, Tablets,Laptops, Smart Watches)

This policy shall be applicable selectively (geographical coverage, product, customer and time periods).

Try & Buy benefits shall be applicable only if the product was bought when the item was on Try & Buy. Else normal category policy shall apply on the order. In any case, only one replacement shall be provided.

No Returns categories Some products in the above categories are not returnable due to their nature or other reasons. For all products, the policy on the product page shall prevail.

Part 2 – Returns Pick-Up and Processing

In case of returns where you would like item(s) to be picked up from a different address, the address can only be changed if pick-up service is available at the new address

During pick-up, your product will be checked for the following conditions:

Correct Product IMEI/ name/ image/ brand/ serial number/ article number/ bar code should match and MRP tag should be undetached and clearly visible.
Complete Product All in-the-box accessories (like remote control, starter kits, instruction manuals, chargers, headphones, etc.), freebies and combos (if any) should be present.
Unused Product The product should be unused, unwashed, unsoiled, without any stains and with non-tampered quality check seals/ warranty seals (wherever applicable). Before returning a Mobile/ Laptop/ Tablet, the device should be formatted and Screen Lock (Pin, Pattern or Fingerprint) must be disabled. iCloud lock must be disabled for Apple devices.
Undamaged Product The product (including SIM trays/ charging port/ headphone port, back-panel etc.) should be undamaged and without any scratches, dents, tears or holes.
Undamaged Packaging Product’s original packaging/ box should be undamaged.

The field executive will refuse to accept the return if any of the above conditions are not met.

For any products for which a refund is to be given, the refund will be processed once the returned product has been received by the seller.

Part 3 – General Rules for a successful Return

  1. In certain cases where the seller is unable to process a replacement for any reason whatsoever, a refund will be given.
  2. During open box deliveries, while accepting your order, if you received a different or a damaged product, you will be given a refund (on the spot refunds for cash-on-delivery orders). Once you have accepted an open box delivery, no return request will be processed, except for manufacturing defects. In such cases, this category-specific replacement/return general conditions will be applicable.
  3. For products where installation is provided by service partners, do not open the product packaging by yourself, authorized personnel shall help in unboxing and installation of the product.
  4. For Furniture, any product related issues will be checked by an authorised service personnel (free of cost) and attempted to be resolved by replacing the faulty/ defective part of the product. Full replacement will be provided only in cases where the service personnel opines that replacing the faulty/defective part will not resolve the issue.
